Privacy policy

We collect what's needed to score, stream and share youth games: account details, rosters a coach enters, game stats and video. Team, game and player pages and game video are public so family can watch without an account; team chat and emails are private. We don't sell data or show ads. Parents can ask us to remove their child's information at any time at support@uchallenged.com.
1. Who we are
BeyWatch242 (“BeyWatch242”, “we”) is a website and app that lets youth sports coaches keep score, stream and record their team's games, and share them with families. It is provided by BeyWatch242. Questions about this policy go to support@uchallenged.com.
2. What we collect
From people with accounts (coaches, parents, family members, fans): your name, email address and password. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and we never see them in plain text.
Team information a coach enters: team name, schedule, opponents, and for each player a name, jersey number and position. Coaches should add only what the team needs, and use first names or initials if families prefer.
Game information: scores, play-by-play, pitch counts, box scores and awards, which are linked to players by name.
Video: live streams and recordings of games that a coach chooses to broadcast or upload, and short highlight clips cut from them.
Messages: team announcements, and messages in a team's private chat.
Alert emails: email addresses that family members add to a player's page to get alerts, which can be added without an account.
BeyWatch242 Track: parents who register a child for a track meet give us the child's name, birth year and, optionally, gender, plus their race results.
Technical data: a sign-in cookie so you stay logged in, and standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) that our hosting provider keeps for security and troubleshooting. We don't use advertising cookies or sell ad space. If you use “use my location” on the track leaderboard, your location is used in your browser to filter results and isn't saved.
3. What is public
BeyWatch242 is built so family can follow along without an account. These are visible to anyone with the link: team pages (schedule, record, roster names and numbers, announcements, trophies), game pages (score, play-by-play, box score), player pages (stats and highlights), and live and recorded game video for the team's games. Search engines may find public pages.
These stay private: team chat (only the coach and families who joined with the coach's invite link), email addresses, BeyWatch242 Track athlete details, and account information.
A coach who doesn't want a game public shouldn't stream it, and can ask us to remove a video, a player or the whole team at any time (see “Your choices”).
4. Children
BeyWatch242 accounts are for adults: coaches, parents and other family members. Children don't sign up, and we don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The team chat and alert sign-ups are for people 18 and older.
Players' names, stats and game video are added by their coach or parent. Coaches agree in our Terms to get permission from each player's parent or guardian before listing the player or filming games, and to follow their league's and school's rules on filming.
A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to remove their child's name, stats or video, even if the coach added them. Email support@uchallenged.com and tell us the team and the child; we'll act on it promptly and tell the coach.
5. How we use it
- To run the service: show scores and video, keep the box score, cut highlight clips.
- To send the emails you asked for: “your player is on deck”, home runs, game live and final scores. Every alert email has a link to stop them.
- To write optional game recaps. When someone asks for a recap of a finished game, the play-by-play (which includes player names) is sent to our AI provider to write a short summary, which we then save.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
7. How long we keep it
We keep team, game and video information while the team is active on BeyWatch242 so families can look back on the season. Deleted chat messages are hidden right away. When something is deleted on request, we remove it from the service promptly; copies in backups and our providers' systems are cleared on their normal schedules.
8. Your choices
- Stop alert emails with the link in any alert, or remove your email on the player's page.
- Leave a team chat at any time; the coach can remove members and messages.
- Coaches can edit or remove players, games and announcements in the coach dashboard.
- Delete your account yourself at any time: sign in and choose “Delete my account” on your account page or in the app. That removes your login and everything you created (for a coach, the team, its games and videos too).
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your information or your child's, or to have us delete your account for you, by emailing support@uchallenged.com. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections, keep private data out of public reach, limit who can change a team to that team's coach, and keep secret keys out of the website code. No service is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for big changes, let account holders know by email or on the site.
